At Cancer Support Community, we strive to serve every part of every person impacted by a cancer diagnosis. That means serving patients and survivors, and also reaching every member of the family. As a complement to medical treatment, our comprehensive programming is offered free of charge at our comfortable headquarters and at a number of hospitals throughout Central Indiana.
When someone is diagnosed with cancer, it touches every part of that person’s life, not just one body part. Facing cancer demands a lot from patients and their family, and we’ve designed our programs to empower and support survivors on the road to recovery. There are five components to our program–psychosocial support; education; wellness; social connectedness; and information, assistance, & referral. Each component serves a different part of our participants, offering evidence-based, carefully-designed, and professionally-led programs aimed at helping those impacted by cancer find support, information, and most of all, hope.
